Picked up this Sandisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 256GB USB Type-C drive for the extra capacity and its ability to also plug it into standard USB ports (Type-A) but also a smartphone (Type-C).
It has a metallic design (it does seem to get pretty warm when used heavily), and works great to transfer large files. It's also surprisingly small physically, so you might fumble around a bit with it, since it's just feels so small compared to all the other older USB drives I've had before.
The Type-C USB connector is nice, as it future proofs it for at least few years (I would expect). I tried it once on my Android smartphone, but the one thing I did not anticipate at the time, was that I would need to format the USB drive to transfer files to and from my smartphone. I don't have an urgent need to do it often/at all, but it's something to keep in mind.
