After my monitor's built-in speakers no longer worked (video input still works though) I went looking for a set of budget speakers with a decent design and was happy to be able to find these speakers at around $35 CAD, taxes and shipping included! It takes a USB port for power and a headphone output for the sound. Plug them in, switch it on and turn up the volume for sounds in just a minute.

How Does it Sound?
The sound is pretty solid for small speakers like this...There is actually a bit of bass which you might not expect from a budget pair of speakers like this.
