The Asus ZenFone 3 is a pretty good phone if you are looking for an unlocked phone in Canada. From what I've seen, there just aren't that many decent choices in Canada for an unlocked phone...The options are really slim. It's good looking, with 64GB of storage, 4GB RAM, and its moderate price tag makes this a good pick up. I've seen reviews where this phone is comparable to the Samsung Galaxy 7 in speed tests! Not bad! The speaker is also pretty good, loud enough for most uses (the "Outdoor" mode to get that extra speaker volume seems to be a nice touch). Once again the fact that this is unlocked is a huge feature of this smartphone.

Don't Drop It on Concrete!
However, the phone can feel a bit slippery and I've got to warn you that one drop on concrete can crack the screen pretty badly. For a 5.5" display I can't say that I was surprised to hear that (I think most phones that size would also crack), but just be careful when handling it. Perhaps buying a protective cover would benefit this phone (I'm usually not a fan of buying smartphone covers).
