Montreal: Lebanese Restaurant Daou Review

Checked out Lebanese restaurant called Daou with some mild expectations after reading a few online reviews. Walking in you see a wall of Celine Dion (with her husband) photos posted on the wall; obviously, they've been there before and it's a good way to market your restaurant. The place is fairly casual looking and I wasn't sure what to expect.

Quiet Night at Daou Restaurant

The restaurant was relatively empty that night, and we ordered five dishes which all arrived at the same time. It's always a good thing if the cook doesn't have to rush any orders out, so maybe we got lucky that day.

I've only been there once so far, but the food was great! Pretty much everything was good, whether it was chicken, filet mignon or quails. No one had any complaints and we all easily polished off the plates. Even the french fries and rice were well-cooked and not dry at all.
