I've decided to learn how to be able to cook a handful of tasty and simple dishes (key word on simple since I'm lazy about cooking in general). Cooking shows to me seem like a sham since they seem to have all these weird ingredients and gear that you might not have lying around the house.
Anyways, I found this interesting web site that has recipes that people put up. The one thing I like is that seemingly "normal" people have actually tried them and voted for the ones that seem to work out. In the comments, most people seem to improvise anyways (since they likely won't have everything the recipe calls for) and they share their experiences. I tried this steak recipe and I must say I actually impressed myself with my first steak.
