By now you must have heard horror stories from anyone who has internet in Montreal with any of the two major internet service providers (Bell Sympatico and Videotron).
People have bad experience with one ISP then switch to the other to enjoy brand new bad experiences. This post about Quebecor (who own Videotron) just highlights the lack of competition in Quebec, and how they want to further wipe out net neutrality, block P2P content and just control what you see on the internet. If I'm not mistaken Bell Sympatico already throttles internet traffic. This is one step closer to the web censorship that already occurs in China. Go Quebecor.
