This poll about Americans is kind of funny (or sad depending how you look at it) when you look at the results: "37% of Americans Unable to Locate America on Map of America". Don't get confused...It's not a map of the world we're talking about, it's a map of America. Wow.
Some of the more common answers:
Of the 1,400 residents surveyed, the most common incorrect responses placed the more than 230-year-old territory in the Atlantic or Pacific Oceans (19 percent), the space where Mexico would appear were it in fact included on the map (10 percent), and inside the word "America" written just above the northernmost states (6 percent).
I wonder how Canadians would do on similar test.
