Airport Amazing Race Style

Took a taxi to the airport for Florida, and a slow driver and massive traffic is not a good combination. We arrived about 40 minutes before our flight and was told several times that we would not be getting on the plane. We somehow pressed ahead, and checked our baggage, went through US customs (luckily there was no lineup there), went through the x-ray/search area all the while being shouted at from an Air Canada guy (the guy who is trying to help us ironically) "Alright!!! No one's getting on the plane!!!". We even had our boarding passes snatched from our hands when one of us got delayed from a random bag search. We ran through the corridors to our gate only to see that the flight was delayed and we had to wait about 30 minutes...Nice...
