On the way back home from a connecting flight in San Francisco I didn't have much time to eat. And, if you didn't know this yet, Air Canada does not serve "free" food on its flights as a cost cutting measure. You can buy some food if you like, but if you are hungry on a long flight you had better have some cash, or you are out of luck. Of course I was in that exact situation.
So I asked, "Do you take credit card?", but as expected the answer was "No, sorry". But, to my surprise the flight attendant went beyond the call of duty and offered me his own "crew meal" which he hadn't eaten yet. Wow, what a nice gesture!
