Hiked up Mont Tremblant on foot last week (takes a good 1.5 to 2 hours) which is an interesting way to spend your day.
Saw waterfalls, lots of trees/rocks, and a wild deer on the way up...And I almost freaked out when the gondola guy said we couldn't hitch a ride back down and had to trek back down the mountain (especially with the temperature dropping and sunlight running out). The gondola officially closed like an hour before we got to the top, but luckily he radioed his boss and finally let us back down...whew!
Lesson to be learned: Make sure the gondola is open before you climb up the mountain! Unless you're ready to trek back down for another 1.5 hours...
